Trail’s End was founded in 1857 when Thomas Richardson of the Kentucky hill country arrived in Wayne County, Iowa. Our family has operated this farm for the past 25 years and plan to continue doing so well into our next generation..

Iowa is #3 in the Nation for harvesting Pope and Young record book whitetail deer. Trail’s End is located in Allerton, Iowa in Zone #5, known for producing some of the largest whitetail bucks in the world year after year.

We intensively manage our food plots, corn fields, soybean fields, clover & alpha, CRP and timber to promote an abundance of top quality trophy wildlife. This includes monster whitetail bucks! Since we own and operate the land you will be hunting on, we have the distinct advantage of being able to limit the amount of hunters that we take per hunting season.
