J & D Outfitters is a family owned business located about 1.5 hrs from Colorado Springs. We have exclusive caretaker and hunting rights to over 40,000 acres of private mountain ranches and over 100,000 acres of eastern plains ranches that provide exceptional harvest opportunities. We conduct our trophy elk, mule deer, bear and turkey hunts in Game Management Unit # 59 located near Cripple Creek CO and trophy elk , mule deer, and bear hunts in Unit # 64 near Montrose, CO. We also offer trophy elk, mule deer, mountain lion and bear hunts in unit # 411 located near the Grand Mesa in CO. In an effort to provide you with a quality hunt, we use sound management principles for both the wildlife and its habitat. Our ranches are surrounded by either other private ranches, National Forest, state or BLM land. Elevation in our hunting areas ranges from 6,800 to 11,000 feet
